Wild, einfach, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Toiletten und Dusche sehr einfach und der Umgebung entsprechend mehr oder weniger sauber. Liebevoll gestaltete Hütten aus allen möglichen Fundstücken. Zeit zu ruhen, zu schauen, zu surfen oder was man sonst mag. Die Küche war nicht so mein Fall...aber da scheint sich positiv was getan zu haben.(bekam Fotos von Freunden) Die Inhaber sind sympathisch.

Stunning set up in the desert overlooking the ocean. Absolute quiet and solitude. A total gem of a place. Accomodations are obviously basic, but provide everything you need. The shower is arguably the shower with the best view in the world. And the meals prepared in the outdoor kitchen taste amazing. Bryan is a fantastic host and provides a welcoming area. If you want to get around the island and look at the fancy resorts for a good laugh, then a car is quite necessary, but if you just want to relax, unwind, enjoy and maybe explore the beautiful beaches of El Castillo, you've got all you could possibly need. Very highly recommended (if you are not traveling with your mother in law)!

We stayed in the cabin for 3 days and we absolutely LOVED IT! You can actually feel that Luz Maria and Bryan put their heart into this place. It is one of the best places I've been to and I have traveled a world a bit. La Maxada is great to unwind, relax and reset. The astonishing view at the desert and the ocean. You also get the "first seats in the theatre" to watch the Sunset here right at the terrace! The night sky is full, and I mean it, completely full of stars. Hosts are amazing, very kind. Wild & free place to be with a stunning view on the sea, sunsets and the stars. Great Host and cheap huts. Good for all who dont need luxury & low Budget traveler who wants some privacy and not a 6-8 person bedroom.

Wusstet ihr, dass dieser Typ Naturliebhaber bei der Polizei denunziert? Er macht seit Jahren schon Fotos von Menschen, ohne zu fragen, ist aggressiv und schickt die Fotos der Polizei. Nur damit die Leute bei ihm buchen müssen. Auf einem staubigen Platz in der Wüste, ohne Comfort, ohne Service, zu teuer. Zudem ist dieser "Campingplatz" illegal.

Bryan is a great host. Dedicated to maintain this place in a sustainable way. Its a merit he has being putting the stone walls from 1990 around the place.

Camping in the desert! Beautifull skies and solitude. The perfect experience for servers, dreamers, people who want to write a book, etc.
